I SEARCH FOR MYSELF
(i searched for you)
I’M STILL LOOKING THROUGH THE DESTRUCTION
(i found you among flowers and honey)
TO FIND MY WOUNDED PARTS
(and with your aid i learned about)
WHICH WERE TORN—THROWN INTO
(myself and discovered that it was)
MANY CAVES AND SEAS FOR ME TO
(you i yearned for and you i needed)
WANDER THE WORLD IN SEARCH
(in order to find myself and fill)
BUT INSTEAD OF FINDING THE LAST
(the missing pieces and i thank)
PIECE OF ME I FOUND SOMETHING;
(you for your help, love and patience)
A CLUE OF WHAT TO SEARCH FOR
(and i’m glad i searched for myself)
WHICH LED ME TO SEARCH FOR YOU.
(because in that i found you.)
