I would like to talk to you for hours
About nothing and anything that comes to mind
Sit there for half an hour just strumming our guitars
And that would be alright and that would be just fine.
I could chat with you online
’til there wee hours of the mourning and the sun comes up.
We’d exchange internet love tokens: roses and kisses
Our hearts would touch via our fingers.
I’m reminded of you when I hear the words “me and you”
And I think of you when I hear Aerosmith on the radio.
Your in my thoughts night and day.
The vision of you carries me away.
You are my last thought at night
My dreams are graced with your presence
I wake, well rested, knowing I’ll see your sweet face
or hear your voice.
I’m not very good at putting my feelings into words
I’m even worse at telling you
But my feelings for you are strong and very deep
My heart yearns for your touch.
And my mediocre poem, though not exceptionally poetic
Is alright with me because it clearly states
That you mean the world to me
And you’re changed my life forever.
The message of my poem, simply said:
I care for you, beaucoup
And I am very glad you’re in my life.
