Freedom fighters collapse under weighty beams
of persistent badgering tyrant kings.
Lords of control with blazon armored suits
charge the banks of peace-ladened aspirations.
With heart in hand and dignity slung over one shoulder,
trampling the bloodied waters of those last fallen,
Battered soldiers hurl face-forward into gross battle
giving way to the long climb back to being.
Their resilience sending reverberations into the night,
the dark clouded sky stark and starless, haunts
lost souls of endless battle, cries
deeply echoed resonating the hardened souls of attacking foes.
Fame carries from battles won;
greatness is born of losses overcome,
and with each stone thrown swift,
abound are many courageous called to the front.
Even the small fight hard, weak and tattered
for belief in truth outweighs life’s pure breath.
Totality sacrificed when injuries surface
giving way to rescued abandoned fractures.
Whether resolution attained through constant dialogue,
need not be objective nor criterion,
but merely direction toward civil debate
be reached in the arms of mobility.
