Together
they go
faster and faster—
they are hidden
except for
their shoes
which seem
to look like
that is
all that is
moving under
the curtain and
they remind
one of cartoon
shoes that move
across the floor
without anybody
to move them, soon.
they stop but
we start and
we become the shoes.
