After reading Glampyre’s successful online prescription glasses experience, I was so excited that I would finally get some prescription sunglasses. I’ve been wanting them, but every time I go to the eye doctor, I need new glasses and use up all of my allowable spending. So I called up my eye doctor, got my prescription (which is only a little over a year old) and order my new specs.
I normally use clip ons to shield my eyes but for some reason in the last month or so, I’ve lost both pairs. I increasingly have problems finding clip ons close enough to my normal frame size, which is fairly narrow and rectangular. I don’t like the really ugly lame ones so I tend to search for months and months in vain. I’d much rather just switch between regular glasses and sunglasses then deal with the annoying clip on situation. Voila! Here are my new sunglasses.I ordered my sunglasses from 39dollarglasses.com and was able to choose the frames and the tint for under $50.
In my search, I found these spectacles (from Goggles4u.com) that I just had to have. They were $25 for frames and lenses! I have a pale complexion so dark frames sometimes look odd, but I thought these would be a great change of pace from my more subtle brown pair. I’ll hopefully get them in the next week or so, just in time for my trip to Vegas, where I’ll most certainly need some sunglasses at some point.
